Media Practitioners Celebrates Wello, Publisher, Esan Magazine @ 66

Professional colleagues, friends and business associates of the Publisher of Esan Magazine and The Correspondence Magazine, Mr. Peter Odia Iwelomen on Thursday, 14 August 2024, converged at the Press Centre of the Edo State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, to honour him on his 66th birthday.
The event, was led by the Chairman of the Edo State Council of NUJ, Comrade Festus Alenkhe, as members of the union variously described Iwelomen as a rallying point for the unity and development of Esan land and Edo State at large.
In his remarks, Alenkhe described Iwelomen as a foremost Publisher and leader in the media industry. Alenkhe noted that Mr Iwelomen has contributed a great deal to the development of the media industry in the state.
Mr. Peter Iwelomen, a jolly good fellow, an advocate for the advancement of Esan land and its people, is also the Publisher of the book: "Who is Who In Esanland".
High point of the celebration was the cutting of the 66th Birthday cake, and assisted by the NUJ Chairman and other Journalists.
