GEN. CECIL ESEKHAIGBE, Ph.D FELICITATE WITH ESANS, CALLS FOR UNITY.

In the spirit of the season, the Okalete of Esanland, and an All Progressive Congress, APC, Chieftain, Gen. Cecil Esekhaegbe rtd, has felicitated with the people of Esanland.
Speaking on Christmas day, 25th December, 2022 at his country home, in Agua-Irrua, he called for love, unity and peace among Esans and others around them. He urged the people of Esanland, Edo state and Nigeria at large, to approach this yuletide season with optimism and renewed faith in themselves, the state and in the Country. "..I sincerely hope this Season will mark a fresh hope, that greater days are ahead of us, there is so much that unites us, than, those that divides us..." He said.
Continuing, Gen. Cecil, added that
"Esan must work together, care for one another, look out for one another, and love one another..." adding that, the strength, determination and resilience that defines Esan people must be sustained.
During Christmas, he said; we celebrate love, hope and joy which is identified with the birth of Christ to the World.
As Esan people, the retired Army General said, we face different challenges, but we should not allow that to weaken our faith in God, the State and in our Nation Nigeria. He called on all and sundry to approach this yuletide season with optimism, renewed faith, tolerance, a sense of unity and peace towards our neighbours.
Gen. Esekhaigbe concluded by advising parents and guardians to be security conscious and vigilant at all time during and after this period of Christmas celebration.
