Anti Party Activities: Edo APC Working Committee, Ratifies Suspension of Inegbeniki

Following the statement dated 21 March, 2023 signed by Rawlings Ekeoba, the Esan central local government area All Progressives Congress, APC, Chairman, as well as the Exco and key Leaders of the Party in the local government, in which Chief Francis Inegbeniki, the Edo central Senatorial district Vice Chairman of the Party and nine others were suspended from the party, as a result of the various anti party activities that they were accused of, the state Working Committee, today, Friday 24 March, ratified their suspension.
The anti party activities of the suspended erstwhile leaders, led to the failure of the party in the just concluded Edo state House of Assembly, EDHA, and House of Representatives elections.
Speaking with newsmen today, after rising from a meeting of Edo state APC Exco, presided over by Col. David Imuse rtd, the state Publicity Secetary, Peter Enoserogbe Igbinigie Esq disclosed the development to the media.
Peter Enoserogbe who revealed that, Edo state Working Committee of the All Progressive Congress, has ratified the suspension of Chief Francis Inegbeniki and nine others, added that a 5-man Committee had earlier been set up to investigate the extent of involvement of the allegations against the suspended persons.
The nine other persons suspended along with Chief Francis Inegbeniki include, Chief Abudu Ugbesia, of Ward 1, Theophilus Okoh, Ward 1 and Ijie Airie of Ward 4. Others include Igene Pius, Ward 3, Odalo Godfrey, Ward 3, Unuane Isesele, Ward 7, Raphael Ehimen, Ward 5, and Willy Shaka Momodu, Ward 5.
