We Must Keep Appreciating Those That Stay Awake For Us To Sleep

As Nigeria marks 2025 Armed Forces remembrance day, yesterday, Tuesday 15th January 2025, the Leader of the Legislative Arm of Esan Central Local Government, ECLG, area, Rt. Hon. Famous Aihinoria Ebanehita, has advised that, Nigerians must continue to celebrate and honour those that selflessly served the nation, to the extent of paying the supreme price, in other to maintain peace and keep the country united.
In a phone chat with the Correspondent Magazine, Hon. Ebanehita who maintained that, the greatest love that one can express, is laying down one's life for others to live, also added that; "...one of the best ways to honour our fallen heroes, apart from remembering and celebrating them every year, and also assisting their families and loved ones, is to ensure that we avoid the situations that plunged the nation into the wars that claimed several lives and maimed some others".
Continuing, Hon. Famous Ebanehita, who commended our law enforcement agencies for their efforts in combating crimes in Edo state, concluded by saying; "as legislators, we will continue to speak for our people and also liaising with the executive arm of government to ensure that our people continue to sleep with their two eyes closed".
