Obaseki’s Evil Agenda on Ambrose Alli University, Is Being Executed

Obaseki’s Evil Agenda on Ambrose Alli University, is gradually being executed. Comrade Shaba who said the issuance of the controversial letter of retirement to some staff of the university, with many others pencilled down to face the same fate, is a secret agenda of Governor Godwin Obaseki to shut down the university. He lamented that, about 90 to 95 percent of the affected lecturers, who are professors, are of Esan extraction.
Continuing, Comrade Irabor Shaba Mien-mien said; '...this act of unceremoniously retiring lecturers from service in Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, has a sinister motive of reducing the population of Esan land'.
He said; “…this mass retirement exercise, is aimed at reducing the population of Esanland, because the lecturers whose appointments are terminated, will definitely look elsewhere for employment, and this will have a serious negative multiplier effect on the population and economy of Esanland.”
Comrade Irabor said; “…this mass retirement has the potential of turning Ekpoma to a Ghost Town, as a result of the mass emigration of people out of the town.” He added that; '... if this should continue, it will make it impossible for Esanland to agitate for a governor of Esan extraction as the numerical strength to agitate for a governor of Edo state, come 2024, would have dwindled...'
Comrade Shaba Mien-mien, who called on all well-meaning Esan men and women to wake up and come to the rescue of Ambrose Alli University, concluded by saying; '...the labour of our past heroes shall never be in vain’.
