Dr. Dorry Afe Okojie, A Philanthropist Extraordinaire, Astute Businessman, quintessential Humanitarian

Dr. Dorry Afe Okojie, was born into the family of a respected Ex Sports Administrator in the then Bendel State, a community leader, a former Chairman Of Esan South East Local Government area, a High Chief of Esan Land, Late High Chief Hon. Paul Engo Okojie JP, The Ebogieta of Ohordua kingdom in Esan South-East East Local Government Area of Edo state. He savours and cherishes the love, care and support from his beloved mother Mrs. Beatrice Osaretin Okojie who is from Unuwazi Uromi, in Esan North East Local Government area.
Dr. Dorry Okojie had his elementary education in Emotan Nursery School, Emotan Primary School and thereafter proceeded to Greater Tomorrow Secondary School, where he obtained his Senior Secondary certificate examination all in Benin city, Edo state.
Dr. Dorry Afe Okojie, came out in flying colours on completion of his Senior Secondary School, SSCE, education. The young Dorry Afe Okojie, thereafter travelled out of the shores of Nigeria to the United Kingdom to further his education.
He had his Bachelor of Science, Bsc. degree in Business Management from the prestigious Plymouth University UK. He got his Masters degree, Msc. in Public Administration from the equally prestigious University of Nottingham also in the United Kingdom.
Dr. Dorry Afe Okojie, an entrepreneur and business man, with an intimidating business profile spanning over a period of 20 years.
He has single handedly set up and currently running several thriving businesses, amongst which are Daf Homes & Estates Ltd (Building & Construction) in Ikoyi, Lagos; a leading Construction and Property Development company in Nigeria. Dr. Dorry Okojie’s Building and Construction company has been into the building of both affordable and Luxury/High earned (Fyne Homes) for the teeming populace.
Dr. Dorry, is also the Chief Executive Officer of Safegate Integrated Concepts Ltd, a road construction and beautification of environments/Landscaping company that is located in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.
Dr. Dorry Okojie, is also the Chairman Of Grandeur Haven - A Realtor/Property Marketing & Sales Enterprise. He is the Founder of Dr. Dorry Okojie Foundation, and also a Co-founder and Vice Chairman Of Esan Development And Transformation Initiative (EDATI). Dr. Dorry Okojie, is also the Founder Of Esan Solidarity Association Network (ESAN), which is the biggest Esan Association worldwide focused in supporting Edo State Government in tackling issues of insecurity in Esan Land. He sits as a Director in the Board of Imperial Homes Mortgage Bank. He is a major player in Real Estate, Construction and Project management Industry both in Nigeria.
Dorry Afe Okojie is an accomplished business man and a foremost and distinguished entrepreneur. He is a philanthropist extraordinaire of unparalleled magnanimity and generosity. He has remained a tower of support to many humanitarian organizations.
An illustrious Esan man, who has been a source of inspiration to the teeming youths in Edo state Dr. Dorry Afe Okojie has contributed immensely to youth empowerment and employment programmes, with a view to uplifting the quality of life of his people as a service to humanity.
Dr. Dorry Afe Okojie is a recipient of a Honorary Doctorate degree in Business Administration from the Wellspring University, Edo State and another honorary doctorate degree in Business Administration from Ambrose Ali University Ekpoma. He is a recipient of several distinguished awards amongst which are Edo Private Sector Award 2017, by Benin National Congress (BNC). This award was given to him alongside Chief John Odigie Oyegun. Also Dr. Dorry Okojie got the Niger Delta Private Sector Personality award for 2018from Gbaramatu Voice magazine, He was also recently given a recognition award by the Nigerian Institute Of Builders (NIOB) for his outstanding contributions to Housing developents through Innovative building products.
Dr. Dorry Afe Okojie is currently the First Grand Patron of the Nigerian Union Of Journalist, NUJ, ITV/Radio Chapel. He was also awarded by the Nigerian Union Of Journalists, NUJ, Nigerian Observer Chapel as Edo Industrialist and Personality of the year 2021, in recognition of his selfless service to humanity. He has received awards of recognition from various traditional rulers in Esan Land, namely from the Ojirrua of Irrua and the Okaijesan of Esan Land, The Onojie Of Uromi, the Onojie Of Ewu, the Onojie of Ujiogba, but to mention a few, for his selfless service in philanthropy to the Esan people. The most recent of his award is the Property Developer Of the year 2022 in Nigeria by Daily Independent Newspaper.
