Odion Cedrack Okpebholo Foundation, a sister organization to Okpebholo Foundation, registered in the United Kingdom in 2001, has finalised arrangements to begin to cater for the disabled in the society.
Speaking with a team of Journalists in his country home, in Uromi, Ambassador Odion Cedrack Okpebholo, the brain behind the foundation, said; '...those that actually need our assistance, are the disabled...' Continuing, he said; 'though some orphans also need our support, but there are orphans and there are orphans as most orphans are well to do, but a disabled person cannot help himself, because of his disability, hence they need us more..'
Ambassador Odion continued by saying, just as it is in the United Kingdom and elsewhere in the western world, the foundation has the plan to set up a Nursing Care Home, NCH, in Esanland where the aged that have nobody to cater for them will be housed and taken care of.
Finally, Ambassador Odion said; '...we are starting from Esanland and will eventually reach out to the world...'
Odion Cedrack Okpebholo Foundation will be unveiled on Saturday, 28th January, 2023 at the Esan North East Local Government Area play field in Uromi, Edo state.
