Akugbe for Good Leadership Unity Forum, a non governmental and non Political socio-cultural group, condemn in its entirety, the recent incessant, and questionable kidnappings that occurred, in Esan land in the past couple of days.
First, it was the Igueben Train Station , where scores of travellers, including women and children, were kidnapped, and now, is a one time member of Edo state House of Assembly, Hon. FESTUS EDUGHELE.
We call on the security apparatus of Edo state government to wake up to their duties of securing lives and properties, as the people of Edo state, particularly, Esan land has gone through several harrowing experiences and for the menace of kidnappers that has seemingly subsided, to again resurface, will be too unbearable for the people.
Esan Akugbe for Good Leadership Unity Forum, sympathise with the families of those whose loved ones are still in the custody of the kidnappers and pray that God in his infinite mercies, will intervene for them to be safely released.
